Improv and creative arts classes for adults of all backgrounds and abilities, and for anyone who wants to build confidence, communication and social skills. The method is improvisational theater technique in an energized, fun, nonjudgmental atmosphere where we laugh, connect and grow.

What a class is actually like
In improv there is no script.
We create our own scenarios based on an idea, accepting that idea and building on it. It is the “Yes, and” approach. Yes, I’m listening, and I’m going to build on your idea or thought. While in class, “Yes, and” is an exercise, but in reality it is a mindset that leads us to a complete scene or sketch and, in life, to more meaningful conversations.
- Warm-ups first. Everyone on their feet if they are able. Our instructors ease you in almost effortlessly, which builds confidence and bravery in the room. That’s where it starts: with you being you!
- Short scenes in pairs and small groups. A coach or a classmate gives a suggestion, and with the “Yes, and” mindset we see where the scene goes. This builds trust, camaraderie and personal growth.
- Practice for the hard moments. Situations that seem difficult at home, at work, at school, or anywhere social. Starting a conversation. Reading a face. Taking a turn.
- No one is corrected in front of the room. There is no wrong answer in improv. That is not a slogan here, it is the mechanic.
- Staff who have done this a long time. Trained actors and teachers, not a volunteer with a worksheet.

Everyone in this room is here to get better at the same thing.
Our classes are open to the public. People come to us from every background and with every kind of ability: some to get more comfortable speaking up, some to make friends, some simply because improv is fun. Everyone in the room does the same exercises, side by side. That mix is the design, and it makes for a better room.
Ages we serve
Right now we work with people 21 and older. Programs for people under 21 are being put together and will be announced here.
